There are so many factors when it comes to pricing a bat removal job. A couple factors that strongly correlate with pricing is how big of a job is it? How steep is the roof? What size ladders do we need? Is it a couple bats or have you had a large colony of bats for years? What entry point are they using?
There are so many factors to determine an accurate cost. On average, most bat jobs run between $1,000 on the lower end and $5,000 on the higher end. We offer free estimates so schedule one with us today and we'll give you an exact cost for your solution!
Save your money from all of the nonsense the internet will try to sell you. Moth balls, lights, noise machines, you name it, we've seen it. If a $10 sound machine from Amazon worked, we wouldn't be in business! The only way to get rid of bats is to identify their entry points, seal them to hang a temporary bat valve, and let them leave on their own. Once gone, we seal off the entry points for good and you'll now be bat free.
What is a bat valve?
A bat valve is a one way door to allow bats to leave on their own. They are usually installed for at least a week to allow all the bats you have to leave but once they leave, they can't get back in.
If you find a bat in your home, call a professional to come capture it. Please note, if you capture it yourself, keep the bat in a bucket or your chosen way of containing and call North Carolina Animal Control. They will send out a technician to take the bat to test it for rabies to make sure no one in the house has been infected.
